Deep Thoughts: Google Bar

In the upper left-hand portion of Google’s homepage, when you click on ‘Web’, ‘Images’, ‘Videos’, etc., all of the other options are underlined.

The only exception is when you click on ‘Maps’. In that case, the only option that is underlined is ‘more’. Why is that?

This is the type of thing that keeps me awake late at night, wondering.

UPDATE, 17 Feb 2011: Google updated the look of their navigation bar today, eliminating this discrepancy. I guess I can start sleeping through the night again.
