New Google Hat-tip Format?

Yesterday was the 90th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment to the US Constitution. For various holidays and anniversaries over the years, Google has modified their logo in acknowledgement. So it was a bit surprising to see how they tipped their hat to women’s suffrage on the US site:

Personally, I don’t recall having seen Google use this format before. The logo is unchanged, but an icon and line of text has been added under the search buttons. (Perhaps they have done this before, but as best as I can remember, this is the first time I’ve seen a holiday or anniversary honored in this way.)
